Message from Wei
Hello everyone! I'm Wei, a proud native of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where I grew up surrounded by the rich tea culture. My mother was a tea lover, and it was through her that I was introduced to the amazing world of tea. At first, I rebelled and became a coffee addict, but as I matured, I rediscovered my love for tea, and now I'm a full-fledged tea fanatic.
My passion for tea and my desire to share the beauty of Taiwan's tea culture with the world led me to co-found Trans Pacific Tea with my partner, Phoenix. We want to bring the authentic taste of Taiwan's teas directly to people's homes, no matter where they are in the world. Our goal is to help everyone appreciate the unique flavors and aromas of our teas while also preserving and promoting Taiwan's tea culture.
Message from Phoenix
Hi everyone, my name is Phoenix and I'm Wei's business partner and lifelong friend. Growing up in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, tea was always a big part of our culture, but I never really appreciated it until high school. It was Wei who introduced me to the amazing flavors and aromas of different types of teas, and I quickly fell in love with it.
Wei's passion for tea was contagious, and he taught me so much about the rich history and culture of Taiwanese tea. As we got older, we both became more interested in entrepreneurship and knew we wanted to start a business together that would showcase the amazing teas of Taiwan to the world. We felt that there was a gap in the market for authentic, high-quality teas directly sourced from Taiwanese farmers, and that's how Trans Pacific Tea was born.
Working together, we have been able to combine our love for tea and our entrepreneurial spirit to create a business that we are both incredibly proud of. Our mission is to share the beauty of Taiwan's tea culture with the world, while also supporting local farmers and preserving this important part of our heritage.
